One agent's result. Your own plan depends on your market and the work you put in.

Eight closings in a full year working alone. Two weeks to his first escrow at Power. George mentors new agents because he has lived both halves of that math.

George spent years pouring concrete before he ever touched a purchase contract. He wanted real estate, so he made the move. His first year, he closed eight escrows, roughly one every six and a half weeks. He was working hard and doing the right things, and the pace stayed painful.

Then he joined Power. Two weeks in, he opened his first escrow.

The difference was the machine around him: leads coming in, training that matched what he was doing in the field that same week, structure for his day, and people close by who had already closed hundreds of these.

Over the next three years, George closed 41 transactions and built the highest conversion rate on listings and closings on the entire team. Three solid years of steady production, one repeatable week at a time.

So when George became a mentor, he brought results and the habits behind them.

What Changed Between Eight Deals and Forty-One?

When we built the Mentor Program at Power, we picked agents who had built real production with their own hands and then walked new agents through their first deals in one piece. George earned his spot with the fundamentals.

He prospects like it’s a trade. He gets a buyer or seller to the table and keeps them there. Escrows that should close, he closes. And when a mistake happens (they will happen), he fixes it in private and shows you what to do differently next time.

He also remembers your seat. Year one, eight escrows, wondering if the move was right. He knows the weight of that year from the inside.

That’s why new agents ask for him by name.

His Whole Method Fits in Two Sentences

We asked George what agents need to understand about real estate. He gave us two things:

“Be consistent. You need to close consistently to do well. And pour into yourself. The work you do on your own skills is what compounds. There’s no shortcut around either one.”

That’s the working blueprint of his business, in his own words.

Consistency means the same prospecting, the same follow-up, the same process on every deal, held steady through the weeks when motivation dips and the weeks when someone on Instagram is selling a shinier tactic. Run one process a hundred times and you get sharp at it.

Pouring into yourself means skills: how to listen on a buyer tour, how to present a listing, how to warm up a buyer who went quiet, how to handle an appraisal that came in low. Skills compound the same way the rhythm does.

Most new agents hunt for a shortcut in leads or software. George’s 41 closings say the work is the shortcut.

The Best Listing Conversion on the Team

Two skills carry his production: prospecting and listings.

On prospecting, he takes a lead, qualifies it, moves it through follow-up, and lands the appointment. Follow-up is where most agents leak deals; George’s pipeline stays warm because his follow-up is scheduled, scripted, and done.

On listings, he holds the highest conversion on the team. He positions the property, manages multiple offers, and walks the escrow all the way to closing.

Everything else in this business hangs off those two skills.

Weekly Sit-Downs, Private Corrections

With George as your mentor, the rhythm looks like this: a weekly sit-down on your numbers (what’s working, what’s stalling, where your hours went), text updates through the week, and a phone call the moment something needs handling today. He’s present, and he gives you room to work.

He’s direct. When something is off, you hear it that day. When you’re on track, you hear that too. And he teaches by doing the work in front of you first.

On mistakes: “Everyone makes mistakes,” George says. “I address it immediately, but always in private. I’ll never make you feel embarrassed for being human. That’s just not how growth works.”

Correction in front of the room shrinks an agent. Correction in private grows one. George runs on the second kind.

Three Escrows With George at Your Elbow

Mentorship is the foundation of how Power starts every new agent, and your first three deals with George follow a specific structure.

Field time, twice a week minimum. Showings, open houses, property tours. You learn this business in the field: watching someone who knows the work, then doing it yourself while he’s standing there.

The 3-2-1 day. George teaches the daily rhythm he runs himself:

  • 3 hours of prospecting
  • 2 hours of follow-through (following up with past leads, past clients, SOI)
  • 1 hour of roleplay (practicing pitches, handling objections, running scripts)

Ninety days of that and the rhythm runs itself. By deal two, you’re doing it on instinct.

Tools at producer depth. How George runs Follow Up Boss as a producing agent. RealScout for finding deals before they hit the MLS. Shilo for reading what’s working in your business.

Escrow from start to finish. Offer gets accepted, and on day one you watch George make the calls and send the emails, in order. Deal two, you run it with him beside you. Deal three, you run it yourself with him on standby. Inspection period, appraisal, loan contingency, signing, closing, all of it live.

Live problems. The lockbox breaks. The buyer goes silent for a week. The appraisal lands $30K low and the deal starts wobbling. Moments like these end careers in year one. With George, you watch what a producer does in that exact moment, and then you do it yourself.

After three closed deals, you graduate: full independence, standard splits, and proof that your system holds up under real conditions.

He Remembers Exactly How Year One Felt

George keeps year one close. Eight escrows. Long weeks.

He also keeps close what turned it: a system that worked, leads to work with, and people ahead of him on the road who pointed out the potholes.

“I know firsthand how overwhelming those first months can be,” George says. “Real estate can be brutal when you’re starting out, and I want to make that road shorter and less painful for the next agent. I want to pay it forward.”

He lived both versions of year one, the solo one and the supported one. He mentors because he knows exactly which one he wants for you.

Advice From a Man Who Used to Pour Concrete

Ask George what he wishes someone had told him at the start, and the answer sounds like his old trade. Concrete rewards patience: you prep, you pour, you let it cure, and the strength shows up on its own schedule. Real estate pays the same way. Show up daily, do the unglamorous reps, and let the results set. Year one asks the most of you and pays the least. Stay in the pour, with people around you who know where the cracks form, and year two starts paying you back.

See the System Behind the 41 Closings

George’s numbers come from a repeatable setup: real leads, training that matches the field, structure for every day, and a mentor who walks you from your first prospect call to your third closing.

The next step is a call to see how the Power system would work for your business, down to what your daily 3-2-1 would look like, and get matched with the mentor who fits you. It is free either way.
